Entry Dates & Fees

Key Dates

Entry Deadline: Friday, August 14

Art Entry Drop-Off: Monday, August 17, noon-3pm (Memorial Building, ramp entrance)

Art Market Set-Up: Wednesday, August 19, 2pm-4pm

Art Pick-Up Time: Saturday, August 22 – 4:00-5:30 pm ONLY.

* Unclaimed artwork: $25 storage fee. After 30 days, art becomes property of RAA.

Registration and Fees:

  • RAA members: Up to 6 entries - $30 earlybird/$40 after June 16
  • Non-members: Up to 6 entries - $65
  • Membership dues ($25) must be current for 2026
  • Youth (ages 4-18): Up to 4 entries - FREE!

Entry Checklist

  • Fill out and sign entry form
  • Submit payment (make checks payable to Range Art Association)
  • Pay current membership dues, if needed
  • Read Entry Guidelines (this page)
  • Confirm artwork meets Display Requirements
  • Attach artwork ID tag to each entry
  • Include business cards (optional)

Artwork ID Tags

Artist’s name and title of work must be attached to the front/bottom of each entry. Do this yourself before drop off, or get blank tags at drop off. These should match your entry form.

Artwork Requirements

Artist Requirements

  • Original artwork only (no kits, molds, patterns or AI generated art)
  • Dry, signed and created within the last 5 years
  • Art must remain on display for full show duration
  • Artist’s name and title of work MUST be attached to front/bottom of each entry

Display Requirements

  • Max size: 4’ x 4’; Max weight: 30 lbs.
  • 2D: wired for hanging (NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS!)
  • 3D: max 2’ x 2’ tabletop or self standing sculpture
  • Oversized/heavy work must come with own secure display
  • Must be safe and stable for public and volunteers

Artwork Categories

Limit: 6 total entries

  • 2D Wall Art: Includes paintings, drawings, prints, collage, any other 2D work designed for wall display.
  • Photography: Includes traditional film, digital images and digitally enhanced works. AI work will not be accepted.
  • 3D: Includes sculpture, wood, metal, assemblage, etc.
  • Craft-Functional: Includes jewelry, glasswork, wood, ceramics, basketry, wearable art, etc.
  • Youth Art Show (ages 4-18): Up to 4 entries per artist in any medium. No entry fee.

Rules & Responsibilities

Sales and Artist Responsibility

Artists keep 100% of proceeds. Artists are responsible for any sales tax. All buyers and artists must pick up artwork during official pickup time.

Right to Refuse

RAA reserves the right to decline entries that are difficult to display, unsafe, oversized (see Display Requirements), noncompliant or involve copyright issues. Please respect the all-age audience of this show.

Artist Agreement

I understand that I am entering artwork in the Range Art Show and Market at my own risk. I agree to abide by all rules and regulations regarding participation in this event. I will not hold the Range Art Association, its members, or the City of Ironwood Memorial Building liable for any damage to or theft of my artwork. I accept the responsibility for collecting and remitting any sales tax required on the sale of my work. I authorize Range Art to photograph and use images of my work for Range Art promotions.
