Entry Guidelines and Agreement
Artwork ID tags artist’s name and title of work must be attached to the front/bottom of each entry. Please attach these yourself before drop-off. Extra tags will also be available at drop-off. Tags should match your entry form. Download Range Art Show ID Tags(opens in new tab)
Registration and Fees:
- RAA Members: Up to 6 entries — $30 early bird / $40 after June 16
- Non-Members: Up to 6 entries — $65
- Membership dues $25 must be current for 2026
- Youth ages 4–18: Up to 4 entries — FREE!
Art Entry Drop-Off
Monday, August 17 — 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon
Tuesday, August 18 — 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon
and 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Ironwood Memorial Building
Please have your artwork ID tags attached before arriving whenever possible.
Entry Checklist
- Fill out and sign entry form
- Submit payment make checks payable to Range Art Association
- Pay current membership dues, if needed
- Read Entry Guidelines this document
- Confirm artwork meets Display Requirements
- Attach artwork ID tag to each entry
- Include business cards optional
Display Requirements
- Maximum size: 4’ x 4’
- Maximum weight: 30 lbs.
- 2D artwork must be wired for hanging — NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS!
- 3D artwork: Maximum 2’ x 2’ tabletop or self-standing sculpture
- Oversized or heavy work must come with its own secure display
- Artwork and displays must be safe and stable for the public and volunteers
Artwork Requirements
At Drop-Off — Artist Requirements
- Original artwork only — no kits, molds, patterns or AI-generated art
- Artwork must be dry, signed and created within the last 5 years
- Art must remain on display for the full show duration
- Artist’s name and title of work MUST be attached to the front/bottom of each entry
Artwork Categories: Ages 4-18
Youth artists may enter up to 4 pieces in any medium.
No entry fee.
Artwork Categories: Ages 19+
Limit: 6 total entries
2D Wall Art
Includes paintings, drawings, prints, collage and any other 2D work designed for wall display.
Photography
Includes traditional film, digital images and digitally enhanced works. AI-generated work will not be accepted.
3D
Includes sculpture, wood, metal, assemblage, etc.
Craft-Functional
Includes jewelry, glasswork, wood, ceramics, basketry, wearable art, etc.
Art Market Setup
Sales and Artist Responsibility
New this year:
- Must be a current Range Art Member
- Must volunteer 2 hours at the Art Show
- Must enter at least 3 pieces of Art in the show
- Table displays can be decorated, we provide white table cloth only
- Display cannot be higher than 18 inches or artwork must lay flat
- Range Art Association will handle all Art Market sales at the Welcome Desk Through Square. Range Art Association does not charge a commission.
- Artists receive 100% of their sales.
- Artists are responsible for any applicable sales tax.
Artists participating in the Art Market may set up during either of these times:
Tuesday, August 18 — 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 19 — 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Art Show
Show Hours
Thursday, August 20 — 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Friday, August 21 — 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 22 — 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Judging
Wednesday, August 19 — 12:00–3:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT: THE ENTIRE SHOW WILL BE CLOSED DURING JUDGING.
No artists, visitors or others will be permitted in the show area while judging is taking place.
Artwork Pick-Up
Saturday, August 22 — 4:00–5:30 p.m. ONLY
IMPORTANT: ART PICK-UP IS ONLY AFTER 4:00 P.M. ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 22.
All artwork must remain on display until the show officially closes at 4:00 p.m.
Unclaimed artwork is subject to a $25 storage fee. After 30 days, artwork becomes the property of Range Art Association.
Raffle
The raffle will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, when the final drawings will be held.
Artists are asked to donate a small raffle item. Raffle items may be brought in Monday or Tuesday, or when setting up for the Art Market Tuesday evening.
Artist Reception
Saturday, August 22 — 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Join us for the Artist Reception featuring live music by Roy Eli Brown.
Artists who would like to contribute an appetizer should bring it to the Memorial Building by 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
Rules & Responsibilities
Right to Refuse
Range Art Association reserves the right to decline entries that are difficult to display, unsafe, oversized see Display Requirements, noncompliant or involve copyright issues.
Please respect the all-age audience of this show.
Artist Agreement
I understand that I am entering artwork in the Range Art Show & Art Market at my own risk. I agree to abide by all rules and regulations regarding participation in this event.
I will not hold the Range Art Association, its members, or the City of Ironwood Memorial Building liable for any damage to or theft of my artwork.
I accept responsibility for collecting and remitting any sales tax required on the sale of my work.
I authorize Range Art Association to photograph and use images of my work for Range Art promotions.
